East Coast Retreat was created from a love of historic New England homes and the way they bring people together.  Steve and Kristen were drawn to Portland over 10 years ago for its walkable streets, coastal beauty, and remarkable architecture.   It became a passion to restore homes that honor their past while welcoming modern life.

Each property is thoughtfully preserved and reimagined as a place to gather: around long dining tables, in sunlit living rooms, and central locations.   Whether it’s a weekend away with family, a milestone celebration, or an intimate wedding shared with your closest circle, our homes are designed to feel personal, meaningful, and steeped in history.
